  Pour a cement pad

  $1,500

  When we requested a bid for a 10'x8' concrete pad, we received a call in just a few hours, and James was at our site to learn about the project the next day. He provided a good bid very quickly, with an ability to get to our small job the next week. He showed up a few days later to setup an initial layout and prep items. We had questions about what he setup, and felt a need to discuss the job again with him to make certain we were clearly communicating. He got back to us quickly, clarified what he was doing, and confirmed he understood our desires. He was over a few days later to setup the forms and prepare the site. The day of the work, he showed up in the morning to make certain all was ready and setup as we requested. He and his team showed up in the afternoon when the cement truck showed up, and quickly had the cement poured and spread. There was one minor error that occurred, but they were quick to clean up and correct the situation. One worker said a few words we did not appreciate, but before we could comment, James quickly directed the worker to appropriately adjust his language, which we greatly appreciated. They gone a brief while later, leaving the place looking great, without mess, and the pad very much as expected. We are immensely satisfied with the attention, the price, the service, and the completed job.

  CONCRETE REPAIR

  $2,100

  He quoted me a price , I met with him, we then found something else he could fix and I agreed. I paid in cash due to the distance of job and my personal residents. I requested a copy of the contract , he said he would give me a copy on the 6th and the job would be done in 2 days ., small and easy. Long story short , he wouldnt give me a contract copy , said he did me a favor on price, the job is still not done . He wont answer my calls ,hasnt done what he said he would do. James left my place a mess after cutting lines in my concrete. Totally scammed me. Turned him into bbb and the att.Gen. Jod still not done as of 3/2319

  Backyard Patio

  My husband and I recently wanted to add a patio to our backyard to replace the swamp our grass has turned into. We called Douglas and Sons and got a much better estimate than all the other companies we contacted. Then when the day came to get started, they made sure we were getting the exact patio that we wanted. The workers were nice and courteous, and they finished very fast and efficiently. They did not cut corners or leave the project looking anything but perfect. They also cleaned up after themselves amazingly, to the point you can't even tell there was a big project going on. Both my husband and I are so thrilled with how they did our project that we will definitely be calling them for our next one!

  Concrete Driveway

  $12,700

  Stay away from this guy. James came out and gave me a bid to concrete driveway and parking area. He was rude and some of the workers he had come out looked like meth heads. His work foreman Jeff was knowledgeable and professional and managed to finish the driveway. James had promised to come back and finish the parking area that was given on the bid....but he never returned. I found out that his crew had quit on him because of no pay and has left me hanging with an unfinished job at my site. He hasn't returned any of my calls. This is a fair warning to anyone out there....stay away from this guy and his broken promises and learn from our mistakes. I will be reporting him to the BBB and leaving a negative review anywhere I possibly can.
