  Moved in our new home November 2017 and we love it! The workmanship is amazing, love my large kitchen, flooring, the baths are awesome, crown molding is beautiful. I've had so many compliments on the house from my son who does deck works , reclaimed wood , plus other things, was excited about the house. He kept pointing things out to us and my brother, he is an appraiser in California, he went crazy because the house was so well built. Anyway, I highly recommend Mr Neal, highly recommend and anyone who complains don't realize what a fantastic home they have. I would do it all again as long as Neal is the builder. You need to check out his homes, very, very well built. THANK YOU, THANK YOU MR NEAL

  We will never buy from Douthit again. When we bought the house 11 years ago we had problems from the start our kitchen was replaced 3 times, both bathrooms 3 times the back door had to be replaced and they just through that in and didn't clean up the XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXing. They didn't insulate the vent right that caused them to sweat and rotten the floors and the front door has a crack in the bottom where you can see daylight. When we would call he wouldn't return our phone calls and when the year was up on the warranty he said not his problem anymore. We have talked to other people and they've had the same complaints.

  Contractor Integrity Issues

  In regards to Douthit Construction, Inc., I would not utilize his construction services nor would I recommend him to anyone either. He doesn't keep his promises and his word is meaningless, for faults of his or his workers. It appears that he doesn't follow the concept of "doing the right thing".

  Had issues with his work since the house purchase March 2014 and after numerous communicative efforts with him, he is yet to rectify any of them and these are small issues, God forbid it be anything huge. Its all been documented and I plan on pursuing. Just a warning though to potential Douthit built home buyers.

  Neal built my home, and if I EVER need another one built, I will go back to him!! He was easy to work with; his workers did an excellent job; the house is six years old now, and still seems just perfect! No off-center flooring or doors; no cracks in the foundation. Just a beautiful, sturdy, well insulated, and well built home!
