David is a master craftsman and problem solver, ready to take on projects others will not even attempt. But the reason for this review is specifically directed to weekend amateurs, like myself. I'm pretty good with miscellaneous carpentry, but when a specific job involves tools or expertise I don't have, I call David right away. I like to do as much as possible myself, but must admit when I need to defer to a "higher authority". David's enjoyable conversation, advice and vision on ancillary projects is every bit as valuable as the actual work he performs. He is generous with suggestions on how to go about the NEXT project, so I can get a head start in the right direction. So when I conclude that it would take me forever just to figure it out (much less DO IT), he's exactly the right guy. Rather than buy special tools for what could be a one-time use (which I really don't know how to use), I'd rather call David for a definitive and permanent solution.
I keep expecting to be able to complete such home projects without him, but WHY?
I called him today. Again. And so should you.
