DPM Contracting Service

My husband and I recently purchased a home in Garden City that needed a ton of work. Dominick was highly recommended in the neighborhood, and came by for a free estimate. He could not be more professional and gave us his honest expert opinion as to what we needed done and what would look best within our budget. He was thorough and straight out about how much time and money the job would entail, and kept us updated with money and timing throughout the job. Dominick did wainscoting throughout our entire living room and bathroom along with crown molding, every neighbor on the block was obsessed! Since January, we have recommended Dominick to two other friends who could not have been happier with his work. At the end of the job we were so relieved to have hired a contractor that gave us no stress, only flawless results. I could not recommend dpm contracting enough. I can't wait until they start my deck!

Dominick was one of the best contractors my family delt with in a long time showed up every day on time and work is A+ i cant see how some body gave him a bad review he installed 9 windows and 2 entry doors with screens that look amazing ,painted my kids room and master bed room that needed a tone of spackle came out like new thank you dominick and workers . We had to bring in another contractor to fix/repair all of Dom's mistakes! 1) He did not know how to put up doors with an astragal correctly. 2) Molding put up around windows with over a 1/2 inch gap between the wall and the molding. Put up metal corner bead and while installing it hit it with a hammer then tried to cover it up with excessive joint compound. Leaving waves in the wall. We wanted crown molding put up, Dom did not know how to scroll the molding so that the corners would meet and look even.Sorry, but would not recommend.

Did not finish job! Workmanship was shabby! Asked Dom to skim coat a wall did not do it. Tried to paint over it. He left 1 inch gaps between wall a molding around windows then he stuffed fir strips in the gaps and tried to caulk over the fir strips. He cut molding around a window and did not sand the ends leaving exposed splinters which he then painted over about 6 times to hide the splinters in the wood.....it did not work. He installed front storm doors which did not latch shut when he was done. He also used heat guns to quick dry plaster work. If you call USG ( the company that makes spackle) they tell you never quick dry spackle because it eventually cracks. To say I would not recommend Dom and DPM contracting is an understatement .
