Dr Drain bumped up the cost of replacing my water heater by an additional $1347 saying they needed to bring it up to code. A few weeks later the new water heater broke and flooded the residence. Dr. Drain came back and reconfigured the drain to the way that it was before they "brought it up to code". I called the Building Inspector who told me the work that they did to bring it up to code was not necessary and that the original configuration of the drain was up to code. I called the owner, Ted, to see about recouping some of my costs for the unnecessary work and for the damages from the flooding and he told me to "Have a nice day". Do your research and read the reviews on other websites, it appears that they have overcharged others also.
