I would recommend Dr. Earth’s service to anyone. We would certainly call him again and entrust him with future landscaping projects. Dr. Earth and his crew, who work extremely effectively as a team, demonstrated themselves to be hard working, knowledgeable, collaborative, respectful, and responsible. The project Dr. Earth completed for us is much smaller than most of their projects. We initially called Dr. Earth hoping to address our home’s troubling wintertime backyard/side yard flooding problem. Instances of intense rainy season downpours would cause water draining into our side-yard French drain (from the backyard to the front yard) to back-up and flood into our home. The problem was not the drain, but the depth, angle, and level of the backyard pool decking. Dr. Earth and his team busted up and carted off concrete from our old decking, poured and leveled our new decking, and tied newly installed underground drains to the roof downspout (employing gravity to transmit water down into and through the now three connected underground drains) into our side yard French drain (thus eliminating the need for the multiple external black tube draining conduits we had been using). The thought and care with which Benny, the owner, invested in obtaining the ideal quality and quantity of drainage rock for our project, especially when he and his team had already completed the “heavy lifting” of the project, and had already been paid in full, might seem like a small thing, but we feel his attention-to-detail and follow-through demonstrates how much he cares about his projects, and clients, even the smaller ones. Dr. Earth completed this work in August. I am just now writing this review because I first wanted to see how the drains handled this year’s heavy rains. I am happy to report that this year’s barrage of atmospheric storms (which in the past would have already caused multiple localized flooding incidents, and numerous hours with pumps and buckets warding off encroaching flooding) have not produced a hint of backed-up water, due to Dr. Earth's, and his team's, high quality work and service.
