Homeserve sent Drain & Plumbing Services and the company was EXCELLENT! They booked me and served my plumbing leak and took care of the full repair. I would recommend this company to anyone.

By Diane H.September 24, 2024Repair sewer line break
This company was dispatched by Homeserve, my sewer line warranty company, to fix a break that was identified by another plumber when fixing a blockage. Total communication breakdown regarding the scope of the job. 1st time they came out unbeknownst to me, and sent a message that "they did not find a leak and were closing the claim". I had to call them and the warranty company to inform them that it was a break in the sewer line and was under a wood deck and a concreate patio. They dispatched them a second time. They came this morning with only a shovel ... and said they weren't told it was a sewer line nor the scope of accessing it under the wood deck and concrete patio. Had no other tools (sledgehammer, saw, etc.) on them to do the job, or a camera to make sure there were no other breaks or issues in the line. I sent them away and called the warranty company to dispatch a different company. The guy and his young helper came in a personal truck, looks like they dispatch regular handymen to do their jobs and not true professionals.

Horrible Service. I am still waiting for this company to replace my hot water heater. It has now been a month since I filed my claim with my warranty company. They have come out one time and the repairman took photos and a lady from the company called back and said we needed to take more photos because the numbers were not clear on the photos their man took. I have called my warranty company back numerous times and they have said they will notify them again. I am still with hot water.

My experience with Clint and Jake at Drain and Plumbing Service was 5 stars. Prompt, extremely knowledgeable, communicative, and efficient.
Explained everything to me so that I understood the situation. I would hire them again should another plumbing issue arise -

Horrible Service & Customer service. Home warranty sent them out they sent 2 young boys took them forever to figure out the problem that I told them at the beginning what it was then they sent out another crew that didn't speak English & I don't speak Spanish to dig a hole and lay pipes day 2 no one has come back & its a big stinky hole in the front of my house with sewage water in it and The company or the contractor they sent want answer my calls. Very unprofessional I don't recommend at all now I have to call home warranty to send someone else mean while this big stinky hole sitting here smelling bad & dangerous.

Horrible. The warranty company sent them out. Two guys in a personal truck. They were afraid of spiders and saw one when they went to get under our double wide. Finally after much searching for spiders went in, told me it was an installation issue and needed approval from the warranty company. Never called back warranty company said the plumber said it wasn't covered. Called a reputable plumbing company they came out replaced a torn rubber boot and replaced a broken support strap, took them 45 minutes. Do not use this incompetent company

I had a fantastic experience with them. I've used them twice and have been highly satisfied. It took him a while to get to me the second time and so he offered the repair at no charge, which I refused.

By a user in DallasAugust 24, 2017Fix foundation leak
My warranty company made us use them after another plumbing company's bid was higher. They sent out a guy the first day who fixed one leak but didn't make sure there wasn't any other weeks. Fast forward 3 weeks later and my husband finally fixed it himself because the warranty company and Drain and Plumbing still haven't fixed it even though they've sent out a guy twice. This company is rude and doesn't believe the homeowner. Keep your money and never use them.

We had a horrible experience with them. We were connected to work with them through our home warranty when our hot water went out. They came out 2 days later. Two guys came out and both looked clueless and said they would be back and order the part. They also told me that if changing the part doesn't work, I would have to change my entire water heater. (Weird thing to say in my opinion over a ignitor coil) Later that night we try to shower and find out they turned off all of our water access to our showers. I called the next morning and demanded someone come turn it back on, which I appreciate that someone did. I cannot remember his name but we will call him Red, and he was the only knowledgeable person. The next day I called the company to check on the status so we know if we will have hot water before the weekend. She said they ordered the part and we wouldn't have anything before the weekend. I call on Monday and she says now that they DIDN'T order the part yet. Later that day Red calls and admits the original guys dropped the ball and asks for me to get him the model number for my hot water heater. I appreciated his call and apology, but I was upset not having hot water for a week and having them paid to come out to absolutely solve nothing. How do you leave without grabbing a model number of the unit? I called my home warranty company and canceled service with them. I lost out on my payment, but I would rather lose that then work with them again. We called Rheem ourselves and they diagnosed the problem and sent us the part. We installed it ourselves and had hot water in 2 days. Lesson learned- do it yourself if you can.
