Our journey began with Jamie, our lead carpenter, whose commitment to excellence has been the heart of our business. Jamie's roots run deep in the Portland area, where he honed his skills through a finish carpentry apprenticeship with Michael's Finish and Trim—once the premier finish carpentry company in the region. When Michael's closed its doors in 2012, Jamie had already established himself as a standout in the craft. He further refined his expertise under the guidance of Rich Wright, a highly respected contractor known for his work on large custom homes, before taking the leap to start Dream Home Finishers in 1998.
