By Sarah G.October 28, 2020New Construction$320,000
I built my home with Mr. McGuire 12 years ago. I absolutely LOVE my home! Mr. McGuire and his crew paid attention to every detail and made everything exactly as I asked. He and his wife don't just care about the project they care about YOU! My beloved pup passed away suddenly during my build. I asked Mr. McGuire to assist me in digging a hole on the property to bury my pup. Not only did he personally dig the hole, he had one of his crew make a small wooden coffin for her. I was going to bury her in the cardboard box the vet sent her body home in. Then, the day I moved in Mr. McGuire and the crew came by to help with my bigger items and brought a beautiful little headstone for my pup. THAT is going above and beyond! My house is fantastic and all I ever need to do is call if I have a question or a problem. After 12 years NONE of my "problems" are his responsibility but every single time he comes and takes care of it. (Most recently it was siding that I had broken when I hit a rock with my mower.) I will never look for another contractor or handyman again. He is as good as it gets.

By J.c.March 1, 2020NEW HOME$325,000
This guy is the absolute worst. He built a new modular for me and a garage. Everything is falling apart. He refuses to come back and make any repairs. Estimates to correct all the problems over 80 thousand dollars!! The company he uses to do the inspections is on the take and gets paid off by him. Runnnn as fast as you can if ever approached by Mr. Mcquire

Our experience was beyond anything I have ever experienced in my adult life time. This contractor is a con and a thief. He was to stop construction due to improper permitting for our site, but continued; then had an inspector OK all work done when it could never had been looked at by this inspector because the work was done incorrectly. 9 years after construction we have a nightmare of a problem that will cause us to pay for the addition he built in 2009 all over again. The joists supporting our addition are all rotted beyond 50% due to incomplete vapor barrier, insulation installed incorrectly, cistern destroyed, no ventilation in the crawl space and unsafe installation of joists! The price tag to fix this will be over 50,000.00 dollars!!!!!!!!! He does not answer his phone. When we had other problems: closet shelves falling down because they weren't installed with support, electrical circuits not done correctly installed, a heat & AC nightmare, improper insulation installation, no ship lap done to wood walls, poor cuts for outlets, poor drywall finishing. This contractor turned his back. Said we should now be responsible for these things!!!!!!! Don't ever allow this man on your property. Scary!

80%? You've got to be kidding me! This company put up a modular home for me and the work was slipshod, to say the least. They left me with a basement that took on water every time it rained and made a mess of my lawn. In order to correct these problems, I had to hire a basement waterproofing company and a lawn maintence company to correct their mistakes. I thought maybe they would help pay for the repairs, since they were at fault, but they just walked away from me. When it was all said and done, I had to spend almost $10,000 to remedy the damages they caused. So, if you're in need of a contractor, stay clear of this company, unless you want to end up spending more that you bargained for.

Horrible, experience ... I call them nightmare homes. Dave and traci are crooked!!! Claimed to b born again Christians.. I should have ran the other way. Built home 13 years ago. ...
First year disasters were frequent! Dave new absolutely nothing about wiring , bumped circuit breakers from 15 amp to 30 amp amp to prevent spa tub from blowing circuit, found out from Cogan electric that Dave had spa tub heater , motor , gfi plus gfi plugs from sons bathroom’s and an electric plug from master closet for iron all on 1 15 amp circuit. He bumped that 15 amp to 30 amp to fix issue. Plug in sons bathroom caught on fire while using hair dryer and circuit never popped. Had to b redone at our cost. Heat pump furnace was wired incorrectly and had to b replaced within 14 mos.
So many hired drywall contractors, numerous drywall issues ... Dave and traci sued said drywall co. But never fixed our issues. Spouting not installed correctly, drains gurgle when toilets are flushed. Siding looks terrible, windows are hard to open and close.Never use these 2 amateur’s. Wouldn’t let then build a plastic shed !!!
