    Fire restoration
    $110,000

    Worst general contractor. . We hired them to do a fire restoration. We informed them before signing the contract that we had been contractors ourselves but had been out of the business for more than 10 years and we're not up on current codes. We also made the stipulations that the tile floors had to go back into our home. They were hired in April and didn't get permits until October. No it has nothing to do with the county. It only took the county 4 days to approve the permit after the engineering was submitted correctly. There was delay after delay. They do none of the work just hire subcontractors. There lack of time management and accounting did nothing but make a stressful situation worse. We paid them just over $100000 and they did permits, framing, insulation and windows. Our house still has the outside structure. We finally fired them at the beginning of February for breach of contract. They also caused several thousands of dollars in damage to our yard and under our house. They blame the customer for all the issues.
