    This is, without a doubt, THE most unprofessional person I have ever done business ever. I made the mistake of giving him more money than what he had completed. After a disagreement on the quality and timeline of work, he left after advising us to find someone else to to finish the work. We have not heard from him since. Furthermore, he left all the trash in backyard instead of properly disposing it and not one single part of the house was completely finished. We were originally quoted three to four days for the full job to be complete. The aforementioned disagreement was after two weeks...

    This business did not do work for me. They did work for a family member that has been with my husband and I since Harvey. The work started off ok. But steadily went down hill fast. We have been involved personally during the repair and remodel. She is still with us and her house is supposed be done. They left a mess, paint and grout all over the tiles. A column made completely from particle board, was supposed to be wood. French doors leaked when it rained. Charged for wall insulation they did not insulate, just sheet rocked over it. Had to make them redo with insulation twice. Hardy plank installed around porch was nailed enough to make it stay for now but could put 1 hand under every plank and pull out, they did come back and fix that. I could go on and on. Point is now friends and family are now going back to fix his shotty work. I will give this company credit for the steps redone to the stairs going upstairs for now. They look good, let's just hope they are made out of proper material. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

    Please do not do business with Alex Silva or DRR construction. Our 8-week job ended after a year with Alex's bond company turning over HIS ENTIRE BOND to us. The work is horrible (for example, there is a 4 foot wide section in the kitchen where cabinets will go, that has NO studs. They just drywalled over a big hole!)
    Did damage to parts of the house he was not even fixing (he cut a big hole in the shower pan upstairs, and then drywalled over the spot, trying to hide it. Big mold in the downstairs hall.)
    Really, save yourself a huge headache and do not hire him!

    The owner of DRR is a crook. He doesn't pay his subcontractors which results in liens on YOUR property and he doesn't pay his workers (who are shady to begin with) which results in them camping out in front of your house waiting on payment. On top of that work quality is poor and his contracts are vague so that things agreed upon in the beginning of the job are eventually "not covered in the bid." He will quote you a short time period but you are lucky if it gets finished at all, my 8 week remodel took over 6 months and I had to hire people to come in and fix things he messed up, like my shower not draining because he graded the tile wrong. He bids cheap but it will cost you WAY more in the end.
