    Disaster Recovery Rebuild Florida

    I have seen & experienced what has been stated in many reviews/complaints. I was led to leave my review here because the reviewer stated, "they cut my camera wire because they thought I was watching them."

    They (the workers) immediately cut my cameras & wifi off. They cut the wires, put tape over the lens, jammed my SD card. Attempted to take the camera off the front door. They assumed I am single.

    They rewired my lights & electrical. Now my porch light & living light are on the same switch. My thermostat was closed in the wall or stolen. There are just wires hanging out of the wall. The AC still doesn't work. I asked the contractor about it, he said,"its not in my contract" after he said they would repair it. My roof was closed up with old wood. The back door frame was never repaired. They put my old refrigerator back, plugged it up filled with mildew & mold. The stove with all the dust and to cover up holes in the wall. All of my windows have not been replaced. The outlets painted over. My home was vandalized and property broken into. They do not care about your property. I've had more stolen off of my property with DSW, Master Permits, & Number One Construction working on my home than since 1991. I have so much more to say. If DSW Homes/Construction is sent to your home for disaster repair, decline, file a complaint, but whatever you do, don't let them work on your home!!!! Property Manager, Contractor have no communication with home owner or effective communication with each other. Property manager & contractor in cahoots. My home is still damaged after their work. Nightmare!! No accountability..They shall pay though!! Rebuild Florida Hurricane Irma 2017, Home so called repaired 2023.

    Horrible they didn't finish the job they took the closet door out and have not came to to putting back.the vinyl plank floor is coming out and is bubbling up.I don't recommend this company to any onethey hire workings without any experience they even were drinking beer, and cut my camera wire cause I guess they thought I was keeping a eye on them

    Texas General Land Office hired them to build a house for me
    $317,077

    Do not use DSW Homes, poor site planning & construction, they are not customer friendly. My house was built under the Texas General Land Office, Harvey HAP. Never had a construction meeting or any input to the construction. They built a smaller version of the selected floor plan, did not receive the finish options we selected. We have a very long list of all the issues with DSW Homes.

    Totally a nightmare!! I was told before signing the papers that my bedroom would be the same size by DSW Homes but my bed won't even fit back it the bedroom much less anything else. I have been told over and over they are coming to fix their mistakes and finish but no show. They do nothing they say they are going to do. My kitchen AC vent was installed by the dining room vent on the other side of the house instead of on the kitchen and I was told they would move it because the specs showed it in the kitchen but they didn't and now are trying to say it's more efficient blowing from the other side of the house towards the kitchen. I'm not stupid but they seem to think I am because I am a widow woman. DSW Homes in the beginning said they would be in and out of here in 45 days, well it's now been 9 months I have been living in my camper. I am so sorry I ever got involved with DSW Homes and wish to God my original home was still here and I had never heard of DSW Homes!! So many lies and I honestly hate this poor constructed house they have replaced my home with and not coming out to fix or finish!!

    They are very disorganized. Can't keep dependable employees. I had 4 site supervisors and only 1 showed up. Have yet to get a hard copy of the work to be done. Damage from Hurricane Michael. Fla Rebuild contract. I want names of subs they hire to do the work. This is my homestead! I am a disabled widow and senior. Total lack of the Bay County location on keeping me up to date with vital information. Alot of verbal promises but nothing in writing.

    Build new home

    Our home was built quickly. Probably too quickly. We have had multiple problems from roof leaks, cracks in ceilings, windows that don't lock and back door not shutting properly. Most of these things have been fixed. They do respond fairly quickly to complaints and take care of them. My point is there have been way too many things that we had to complain about.
