    Home warranty company contacted Duct Care Services to come to my house. Service technician was very thorough in diagnostics of the furnace and found the issue. BUT he broke my thermostat when he put it back. Company refuses to admit fault and replace it.

    Receptionist claims the technician "never even touched the thermostat".. she wasn't even there. I was, I saw the tech remove the thermostat to test the wiring. He put it back. He told me what the issue was with the system and that they needed to order parts. Shortly after he left I noticed the display of the thermostat was off. I tapped it, and it did not turn on. I took it off the wall and saw the broken pins.

    I've called them multiple times about it and they are completely unresponsive. Seems like admission of guilt to me.
