I am a retired custom home builder and I am hard to impress and I highly recommend Duncan Electric for any size project. The owner Matt is:
*Very professional
*Showed up when he said he would
*Answered his email and texts immediately
*His lead electrician and apprentice were efficient in their time management
*They cleaned up each day prior to leaving
*You can depend on him completing tasks without any absent days or delays so you can conveniently schedule the next activity
*His Vans were well-stocked with tools and materials -

Matt has done several electrical projects for us. He has always done great work, once he even corrected a mistake made by another contractor installing crawlspace fans.

I am finally getting around to submitting a review.
We had no problem with Matt in early 2020. I would hire him again.
He installed a generator backup system for us and did a good job. Our communications were good. He treated us professionally. -

Unreliable and poor communication. Arrogant and unprofessional, disrespectful of homeowner time. After coming out quickly to do an estimate, Matt Duncan strung us along for four months ( the time we allowed, trying to plan ahead, for getting the work done) on a simple hot tub wiring project. He repeatedly cancelled very short notice, and not for emergencies. Maybe he is more reliable on bigger projects, but I would not recommend him for an individual homeowner, even one willing to pay high prices due to high demand. Disgusting.

After months of frustration(s) trying to get other electricians in my area, on the Mendocino coast to respond, I was referred to Matt Duncan. He has been the absolute best! Matt installed two new Kohler generators on my property. They have worked perfectly. Also, Matt has always responded in a timely, professional, courteous manner. I have already referred several people to him. I wouldn't use anyone else.
