What is the most negative contractor experience you could ever have ?
Mr. Donald Dunlap's friendly demeanor is misleading so think twice before you hire All Phase Construction or The Pocono Home Improvement Center. After I paid Mr. Dunlap in full he breached his contract by not coming back to complete the installation of a simple Mini Split A/C Heating Unit during July 2020. A PA licensed electrical contractor had to be paid to complete his job as well as correct electric code violations Mr. Dunlap's name was on. For weeks Mr. Dunlap set absurd preconditions as a delay tactic for repaying a mere $415 then issued personal threats to avoid making any restitution. Faced with a pending court hearing, Mr. Dunlap resorted to bizarre threats of legal retaliation claiming to even know the judge and the court's outcome. Consequently, the judge had to excuse himself from the case which was reassigned to another judge who heard the case without prejudice. To add insult to injury, Mr. Dunlap postponed the case then failed to show up for the subsequent hearing dates. The resulting judgement (including court costs) for $510.25 has not been satisfied to date. The Judgement was therefore filed with The Court of Common Pleas of Pike County PA pending further action.
