    We hired Dunwell Interiors Inc. to renovate our home . Project was a bit challenging , and as we interviewed multiple contractors it was Marcin who was the most knowledgeable responsive and professional . We've had an architectural drawings made and he presented us with detailed bid and itemized every part of the scope. He also advised us on our bathroom and kitchen and warned us about potential issues that might occur during renovation. Non of the other contractors did that. We felt he had a very personal approach and genuinely cared about our home .Since we had to live at the house while the renovation was taking place it was very important to us that we will work with someone who understands how difficult this might be .We were very pleased with the whole process !
    Marcin made sure this will have a minimal impact on our lives .His crew showed up at 6am every day since that was the time we would leave for work and by the time we got back all was clean and tasks completed .I can't say it didn't feel like workers weren't at the house but I imagined this would be much worse. To my surprise it was quite smooth .
    We love our new bathroom !! great attention to detail and finished before promised date .Couldn't ask for more !!
    Marcin was working with us during the whole time asking us questions about things that wouldn't occur to us and explaining every option when there was time to decide on something . Little things no one pays attention to will bother you if not addressed while renovating .We recommended him to our next door neighbors for their kitchen and bathrooms renovation and that was completed in 6 weeks !!
    Great contractor , very professional , we will keep recommending Dunwell Interiors to our friends !

    If I could give this less than 1 star I would. This was just about the most horrifying experience! I hired Marcin on May 31st and he told me that my project would take roughly 7 weeks. It is not over 10 months later and my project isn't even close to finished. He is unprofessional, unreliable, and just a liar. I heard every excuse in the book from him. "I got in a car accident"(saw his car then next day, not a scratch), "I needed emergency surgery". He is either the most accident prone person I'd ever met or simply a liar. Even his employees told me the he pleaded with them to work on credit because he couldn't pay them, and never did! (including an elderly 70 something year old man). He changed his staff like gloves, I've seen him go through at least 10. In addition to all that, when I had another engineer and contractor take a look at it, they told me that the job was so horrendous that it was a danger and hazard and should be taken down immediately. So in addition to him being a scum of a person, he's also a horrible professional. I also just discovered that his license has been expired for the past year! I'm a complete i**** for believing he was licensed instead of making copies, but that's beside the point. In any case, please beware of this scam artist and crook.

    Martin is the biggest piece of garbage you will ever encounter. The guy worked on my house without pulling permits, received multiple violations and took ABSOLUTELY no responsibility for it. He insisted I give him 80% of the money we agreed upon up front ($40,000), he did about 35% of the work and then outright REFUSED to continue working unless I gave him the remainder of the balance.....When I refused to give him more money, he sneaked into my basement while I was sleeping and stole all my materials....COMPLETE PIECE OF TRASH......EVERY word out of this low life's mouth is a lie; he has an excuse for everything. I basically paid $40,000 to have my basement framed, sheetrocked, and the floor tiled.....He cut EVERY corner imaginable and the little work that he did do was pathetic, I had to have everything DONE OVER by a REAL CONTRACTOR. I had to file a complaint with Consumer Affairs just to get SOME of my money back from this contractor...Then when it got to the point of threats being thrown back and forth, HE RUNS TO THE POLICE TO TRY TO CLAIM HE IS BEING HARASSED.....This guy is a straight-up piece of garbage scam artist. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. AVOID! YOU WILL BE SORRY. MARTIN IS THE BIGGEST LOW LIFE IN QUEENS! FIND A REAL CONTRACTOR WHO SPEAKS ENGLISH AND KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING! MARTIN IS TRASH!
