Permits
- Building permit records show that Durgun Home Improvement Corp has worked on 10 permitted projects.
I hired Gino to sand down a new oak floor and was very specific that I wanted an oil-based urethane finish. He thought it was best for him to use a water based finish and applied it, got his money and left. When the floor dried and I had an opportunity to inspect the work, I was not happy and implored him to come look at the work. He hand-sanded a dozen or so areas, filled over a dozen or so nails and pulled a piece out of a conspicuous area, which probably swelled from the water base. Applied more water based urethane. The job is not what I asked for, I've tried to get him back to strip the floor and finish on the original terms. He's too busy now and is begging off. I'm now 3 weeks over my schedule to finish the room because I'm not happy with the results.
