    **DO NOT HIRE DAVID CHRISTIAN WALLACE/DW Residential LLC**. He is a repeat scam artist, look up his criminal record if you don’t believe me. Everything you will read online about David is entirely true, save yourself the time, money, and headache and find another contractor. His General Contractors license shows revoked on 8/31/22 and he is still taking jobs and clients money. We hired David on 7/25/22 and he said it would take 3 weeks to complete our small house project. As we crossed into week 9 this past week, I lost all patience and confidence with Dave. Dave has told us the official drawings were submitted for permitting on 9/2/22. On 9/21/22, I called the city, they had no permit records, then I called the architect, The architect still had the original plans and Dave had never picked them up nor paid for them. The drawings were completed on 8/18/22. So for the last 30+ days, Dave has done nothing to move our project along and lied to us on multiple updates and even tried to get additional money from us for a new window. He has stopped returning our calls and has not yet refunded us our money, as of 9/24/22. There are several other online reviews for David Wallace/DW Residential just like mine, do not make the same mistake as me.

    Had a signed contract to renovate our entire home. Contractor insisted he needed the first draw up front. He was issued the first payment (over 5 figures) and then kept delaying the project. Finally after over a month of delays he said he had to withdraw from the project without any work being done. We haven't heard a word from him for over a month, and he has not returned one penny of our money. Will not return calls, texts or emails.

    bathroom remodel

    Do not use DW Residential. Mr. Wallace has many complaints registered in St Lucie Counties and Martin County. He does not respond to texts, phone calls or emails. He does not honor his commitments to his contract. He takes too much money upfront. My bathroom renovation is into the fourth month, and I am living with a gutted bathroom with inferior plumbing. I have had little response from Mr. Wallace except at text stating he was ill, out of town, and having cash flow problems. As mentioned earlier, are several warrants and complaints pending against this company. Do Not Use this Man. He lies, and makes promises that he cannot keep. He is a disgrace to this industry. I wish I could give him zero rating

    Great experience from beginning to end. Remodeled two bathrooms in a beach condo. As this is my vacation residence, everything had to happen from a distance. Good communication all the way and love the results too! Thanks David & Team!
