Dwayne Hanner

Did great work ,price never changed ,had nice and courteous employees .He helped me with my deductible and his bid was reasonable compared to the others i got. I would recommend him to anyone,thank you mr Dwayne hanner and God bless you.

Hanner Roofing, also known as Dwayne's Roofing and Home Repair, installed aluminum siding onto our facia boards. The siding was cut too low, and it barely went up under the drip edge. The result was three months after the work was done, the aluminum siding was warping and pushing out from under the drip edge. The back patio had a section of siding about 18 inches long "pop out" from under the drip edge about three inches away from the facia, and needless to say it acted like a rain gutter sending all the rain water down into the siding and facia. There were similar problems in the front of the house. Hanner had been called about six times to fix this, and they would not come back to repair it. I ended up using vice grips to pull the drip edge down (which was almost too short to hold the siding against the facia). With the vice grips, I got the drip edge down an additional 1/8 inch which barely held the siding against the facia. Cannot wait until my facia boards start rotting out (sarcasm).

Mr. Hanner did a very good job installing the roofing. The shingles were architect shingles.The roofing was secured with roofing nails hand hammered into the roofing deck. Nails were of an optimum length without projecting excessively long through the roof deck. Matched permanently colored flashing was installed along the roof edges which nicely finished off the roof edges. However he only removed phelt where he felt necessary instead of clearing all the old phelt away. Not sure why it wasn't all removed.

It was also in the contract to paint 8 standpipes which he failed to do. and also owes us a $60.00 refund for unused phelt. Won't return my calls about the matter. We may have to send him a registered letter about it. If that fails we may decide to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau or even regrettably send a complaint to the license bureau.
