I certainly would recommend E&J Enterprises. They were very good project managers who were hard task masters for the folk doing the work. They took time to consult with my wife and I so that we understood the process and costs throughout. As with all projects there were issues that arose due to unforeseen snags, but they were dealt with professionally and swiftly. They certainly go the extra mile and treat the project as if it were their own property. If you want attention to detail, quality control and good project management delivered within budget with full customer engagement, without any hesitation I recommend them.
I am from the UK and therefore the costs of using a contractor in the USA were a big surprise. At home this project would have been about 30-40% cheaper. However, having used contractors for other work I now understand the cost of doing business in the USA. In my opinion E&J represent good value for money.
One negative aspect of the project was the kitchen manufacture/designer 'Chuck' we agreed to use. The product finish and quality were superb but the final finishing of leveling the drawers and cabinets was not completed to our liking. E&J tried hard to get the kitchen shop to rectify the shortcomings but once they had their money I'm afraid we were on our own. So if E&J recommend Chuck please make sure that you build in enough control of their finishing process to ensure everyone is happy.
