Before I recommended E&J Precision Painting LLC to paint my house and now I cant say that I would. You would think that hiring someone to do a job like prep and paint your house included prepping the house to paint so that the job would last. When they began prepping, Brian specifically asked about the prior peeling paint, because we wanted to ensure that it wouldn't be an issue. Not even six months later it started to peel, and also showed whatever sealant they used in the cracks and now a year later it's peeling everywhere and looks worse then before they even painted it. When they originally left they guaranteed their work. Now they are trying to charge us for fixing what they previously did and said I was being unreasonable. They did give us a discount still making the total around $3,000 but technically we paid that much for a paint job that did not last even a full 6 months. Now they want to slap some peel bond over the existing issues and call it good even though they said it needed sanding. It should have been discussed prior to them painting our house. I would have paid more originally to ensure it would have been prepped correctly but wasnt aware the discount came with half the work. I'm not the professional here, they "are". Who wants to pay for something that isn't going to last? I'm not being unreasonable, I'm holding them accountable.
