    Window replacement and outside stain on home
    $5,000

    We have had EAC, Chad Edwards do a project for us before with excellent results and communication. However, we signed a contract and gave a $5,000 deposit in May and have not received any work promised. He said he would order our window as soon as he received the deposit and has promised multiple times he would send someone out the next week. No one has come and now the communication has stopped. We were willing to be patient with a small contractor, but have now asked for our money back. It has been over five months.

    basement finishing

    EAC(had) was hired to finish our basement back in January. Communication in the beginning was great and I could call him or email him and get a quick response. come early march 90% of the basement was finished and the only thing missing was our dimmer switches and the two Murphy doors that he supposedly ordered before the project began. EAC(had) emailed me saying that the Murphy doors did not come in as expected and that they would be delayed for a couple weeks and asked since they were delayed if I could send him half of the last payment. I agreed to this because everything was going great, and I felt like he was a trustworthy guy. Turns out after I sent that half payment of $3,700, I never heard from this man again! Stopped picking up calls and emails and no voicemails returned. I contacted Murphy Doors and an order was never placed under the names of EAC Enterprise, his name, or my name. This company is husband and wife owned and the whole business runs through his cell phone. If writing this Review is the only way I can get a response from EAC then I would like to read the excuse for this one.

    I totally disagree with the above review. Chad and crew were very professional, showed up and finished my project on time. Their pricing was very reasonable and he was very communicative throughout the project. Highly recommend EAC Enterprises!

    detached garage

    I was very disappointed that the estimate sent for me to sign had very little details in it, and considered that a "red flag". After I texted Chad Edwards this useful feedback, he replied it was a "red flag" to him that I questioned his quote (not containing significant details)! This is unprofessional.

    For example, the estimate he sent for me to sign (it was for a detached garage) stated simply "roofing". I texted an estimate for me to sign should be detailed, like dimensional 30 year shingles, as we had verbally discussed. As it was, they could have applied cheap asphalt shingles or even the thinnest metal roof on the market had I signed that estimate. He replied that details could be worked out later, but if that was true, what was his quote based upon??

    Buyer beware! Get EVERY detail of your construction in writing.

    The only reason I am responding to this is because we are required to. First off, our company has never done work for Mr. Plummer. I did submit an estimate to Mr. Plummer for a detached garage. Mr. Plummer texted me his concerns with how our estimate lacked detail and that he expected 5 or 6 pages worth of estimate. I explained to him that our estimating software doesn’t have that much detail and typically if a client likes our number, I then sit down with that client and go over the project in detail. Then, if we are awarded the project, those details are then listed in a contact for both parties to sign. After receiving Mr. Plummers 6th text to my 1, I did tell him it was also a red flag to me that he wouldn’t stop with the texts just complaining about our estimate. He then texted me 5 more times without me responding just proving we dodged a huge bullet here! As a company we will do over 200 projects this year and if our only bad review comes from someone that doesn’t like how our estimates are prepared, then we’re doing something right!
