Herman visited our site and diagnosed the issue. I agreed to have him fix our heat after the diagnosis. The next day, the heater was still broken with the same issue. I immediately called Herman again about the issue. Instead, he gave us a number to call to buy the parts ourselves. You would expect after paying Herman to fix our heat that he would buy the parts himself rather than have his customer do the work for him (i.e. buy the parts for him). He also complained that it took him a long time to find the parts. It turns out that the number to buy the parts that Herman provided is not correct. I had to call Herman AGAIN - he responded that he would call himself but I did not hear back from him for over a week. I therefore had no heat in my home which was not good for a small baby infant - I clearly communicated to Herman that I had a small baby at home. Clearly, he did not care to call back because we already paid him. In the end, I decided to go with another company to fix our heat. Herman claimed it was "difficult" for him to find the parts yet the other company I called was able to fix our heater and provide the parts (they did not have me buy the parts unlike Herman). I would not recommend Herman for 3 reasons - 1) did not fix the heater; 2) had his customer buy the parts for him because he didn't want to spend time or be liable for the parts if broken; 3) poor or lack of response and took our money. Although he claims to have 30+ years of experience, I am wary of his honesty.
