We cannot say enough good things about Jordan and his crew, Wyatt, River and Tristan! We had a loooong list of exterior work that needed to be done – all of which added up to the outside of our house being an ugly, “sore thumb” that didn’t match the work we’d done years ago before moving in. (Fixing lots of shoddy work by a previous contractor… removing a crumbling chimney and replacing it with a sided firebox…creating a beautiful “cedar sunrise” front porch…installing cedar tongue-and-groove soffits…installing lights and screen doors…fixing nailing and flashing issues on our roof…solving the structural issues with our deck roof…crafting a lovely wood mantel for our fireplace.)
Jordan listened closely on the front end and did an excellent job of managing our expectations – with a helpful briefing at the beginning and end of each day. And he never minded stopping to show us their progress or to answer any questions. I’ve long dreamed of a new porch, and he took extra care to make sure I was happy with literally every single decision they made in the process of trying to execute my vision. They worked incredibly hard and took great pride in doing things right. (Something we wish we could say about many other contractors who’ve worked on this money pit of a house!) Finally, given their work ethic and attention to detail, we weren’t too surprised at the final stage of inspection/punch-list generation that Jordan spotted more tiny issues than we had – then hustled to make sure every last detail was attended to.
When you spend a solid month with workers at your house, it can get tiring. But Jordan, Wyatt, River and Tristan were a pure pleasure to have around. Bottom line, I can’t imagine we’ll ever run across another issue that needs doing at our house without first giving Eastside a call!
