    Kevin came to do a job for my family in Moon Township .
    His behavior was completely unacceptable ,his work very poor and he never came to finish the job once he was paid .
    When ask to fix something that was obviously not right ,he became enraged and began screamming at my Family member . Do not hire this man for your job. He is unstable, unprofessional and will overcharge and do poor work at best .

    True rate for Eberhardt Contracting is.... -5 stars

    Regretfully and sadly, I need to submit a blemished review to inform Buildzoom and acknowledge the worst home repair experience homeowners have.
    I made a huge mistake.

    I chose Eberhardt Contracting in Jan 2013 because I thought I was getting the best roofer in the Moon Township, PA area.

    RE: Eliminate water problem with the garage roof

    I signed the agreement with Kevin Eberhardt January 31, 2013. He completed the job Feb 6, 2013. I paid him $1,800. To this date the water problem exists the same as the day the agreement was signed.

    Following the completion date I made many calls to his cell and home - even speaking to his wife and daughter. Kevin always said he would be over, give me a day and a time, but ………… a NO SHOW and NO CALLS.

    Twice Kevin came to the house to repair the problem:
    First time he said - COULD DO NOTHING because what he needed was not on his truck.
    Second time he said - USED TAPE and it should work.

    A few of Kevin’s excuses for not coming to the house to repair the roof:
    “Job I was working on took longer.”
    “I slept in.”
    “Something happened to my mother-in-law last night.”
    “Taking my wife to breakfast.”
    “I assumed everything was OK.”

    I sent Kevin a Notification letter July 17 and a Reminder letter August 3 stating if he did not return the monies I paid him I would contact the PA Attorney General’s office, place reviews on the web, notify Buildzoom of my experience with him and further pursue the matter legally.

    August 4 Kevin called and left a recorded message:
    His Reply:
    “I NOW KNOW THE PROBLEM.”
    “I WANT TO READDRESS IT.”
    “NO, NOT GIVING THE $1,800 BACK.”

    In conclusion:
    KEVIN EBERHARDT DID NOTHING
    WATER PROBLEM STILL UNRESOLVED
    I WANT THE $1,800 RETURNED
