Dec. 2023…Horrible experience. Avoid at all costs. A promise to renovate two baths in 6 weeks has taken 6 months, still not done.
Don’t let the nice smile, charming demenor and his two “project managers” mask the ineptitude, self-absorption, and mismanagement that defines Franklin Ebersole.
His capable sub-contractors have moved on from his firm for non-payment from him. Stay on the sidelines as his failures to perform implode his sham operation.

My husband and I signed a contract with Ebersole Design Build on March 29, 2023, for a bathroom remodel for a total price tag of $20,000. According to the contract, we paid $8,000 at the time we signed and another $8,000 once the tiling began and $4,000 will be paid upon completion. Both of the $8,000 draws were paid as required. He kept backing our start date up and finally decided on September 12 as the day demolition would begin which it did. However, after demolition, work was spotty. Mr. Ebersole would schedule with us that he was coming to do work and then never show up. So now almost 6 months later we are still waiting for our vanity counter tops and sinks along with the shower enclosure. Both were measured for almost a month ago and although he keeps promising he is going to ok and put deposits down on both, he hasn't. He offered for us to pay for them with the remaining $4,000 of our contract; however, we have spent over $3,000 buying materials he never purchased, patched stucco, fixed the baseboards that were poorly done, put up the shower head and put-up towel hooks, so we really don't owe him anything. In addition to the above-mentioned item, he still has to buy and install a cabinet above the toilet, grab bars, finish dry wall mud, touch up painting and install the vanity. faucets. Now we are going to be out another $7000 to finish our bathroom.
