    Replace AC

    Replaced ac unit in my parents house a little over a year ago. At first my parents were very happy with their professionalism and friendly demeanors but they started experiencing some issues recently and when they tries to call Ecklin the number was disconnected so they had to call another ac company. Turns out Ecklin stole the most exspensive part out of the ac unit they installed and their shoddy work caused major structural damage. Now they have to pay $1400 to fix the ac another $2000 to fix the damage caused and they have already shelled out over $1000 for temporary fixes until they could research and find reputable companies to deal with. Ecklin closed but were still charging my parents credit card for the maintenance plan even though they were out of business! Ecklin has left the area and I believe they have set up shop in Ft. Myers. Do not do business with these people.

    John was very professional -but extreemly friendly. He assessed my needs, gave me a thorough review & written estimate. I advised that I wanted a second opinion & he promoted that saying "It is ALWAYS a good idea to get a second opinion". He gave me his card & told me to call him if I wanted to have the work done. I decided after the 2nd opinion to go with them - He and his son did all the work in a few hours. I have already and wil continue to recommend him to anyone. It was performed at the price quoted and in one day as we requested

    Sent surrogates to proffer estimate. Wanted upfront payment to install owner equipment. refused to speak to customer in person. Made estimate as a licensed contractor that did not include permit required by state law. No better than a Craigslist nightmare. I have rarely dealt with a contractor of such poor judgement and business acumen. STAY AWAY!
