Hired Eric 2 times both with the same result, a sloppy rushed job. We signed a contract to pay a portion of the money up front and the rest upon completion. Halfway through the project he stated he needed the rest of the money, when I brought up the contract he demanded the money anyway. Well the issue here is that he used the same tactic when he did drywall work for us 2 years ago, as soon as we paid him in full he rushed through that job and left us with a mess. Not quality work, save yourself the headache. Once the money is in hand it's a race to get done, quality be dammed. Fool me once..

Poor finished project. Old paint visible through streaky tinted stain paint job, large sections unpainted, post with obvious rot was only painted half way, as if they thought about changing it but didn't change or finish painting it. Only worked from appropriately 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and needed to be contacted to get job finished. The estimated 3 day job took a week to complete. Does not adhere to his contracted payment agreement, and requested a couple of hundred dollar advances from the final payment before completion. I was informed that the post and attached latticework which holds the deck up over a ground level patio, was not part of the deck and therefore that is why he only painted the side facing the patio and not the side that faces the path from driveway to that deck covered patio. He moved the patio furniture from the upper side of the deck, and left it on the shed roof, which was on the other side of the deck railing and needed a special request on my part to have it moved back. As soon as I save up money I will be looking for someone to properly repair the deck and replace the remaining rotted post and boards.
