Ed Moran Family Construction

I highly recommend Ed Moran Family Construction. We received a detailed estimate and there were no surprises. Ed, Matt and all additional team members were always on time and cleaned up at the end of each day. We had our kitchen remodeled and flooring replaced on the main floor. They are attentive to detail and skilled carpenters. They even finished ahead of schedule. I plan to use them for my next project.

We moved into our first home a couple years ago and planned to expand it by adding a second floor master bedroom onto an existing first floor addition. Ed is very knowledgeable, a skilled craftsman, and excellent with communication. Ed and his crew worked hard and were always on time. We are extremely satisfied with aspects of the addition - framing, upgrading electrical, roofing, HVAC with the mini split, windows, and dry walling.
We highly recommend Ed and have been referring him to others in our neighborhood asking about the work we had done.

Just want to say what an awesome experience we had with EMT Construction. Ed and his team tore off an existing one car garage and replaced it with a gorgeous 2 1/2 car garage, plus completed an addition (bedroom, full bath with laundry, hallway with floor-to-ceiling windows and french doors) to the back. They also renovated our foyer and downstairs 1/2 bath. It was the biggest job we have ever undertaken and everything went extremely well, mostly because Ed was so good at communicating with us throughout the entire project. He followed the architect's plan and even made some creative suggestions, and was extremely budget-conscious. He kept us up to date on the timing of each phase of construction and the job was completed in the time frame he estimated from the beginning. We would rehire them for another job in a heartbeat.

EMT Construction completed several projects at our home following a fire which had been caused by a plumber. Ed's team installed a new hurricane-proof roof in one day, which included ripping off the original roof, replacing some of the plywood, and total clean up. We were more than satisfied with their work. They repaired all of the fire damage to our home which included replacing joists, re-wiring the house (because every electric line and cable had been burned), ripping out partial or entire walls, floors and ceilings, then replacing them, installing carpet, installing a vinyl plank floor, repairing leaks in the plumbing, installing a new water heater, and painting the entire interior. They also repaired the exterior where the fire burned through a wall and the siding. We were pleased with everything EMT did, so we also had Ed replace the folding stairs to the attic. I highly recommend EMT Construction to everyone. Ed is a trustworthy, experienced, and efficient contractor who guarantees his work and I would definitely use him again.

I have hired Ed for over 8 different jobs.
In particular, after having three different contractors not being able to find and fix a flat roof deck leak into t a unit below, Ed was nice enough to travel to our vacation home and fixed it in one try.

In addition I’ve used him to fix a poorly designed roof line flashing repair with our new home and finally two different window replacements that he finished flawlessly inside and out even though it was older existing construction.

Construction renovation and repair can many times present unique challenges to even the most experienced contractor. It’s important to have someone who can navigate those challenges to a satisfactory completion. Ed is that kind of guy and has proven that experience with our jobs over and over again.

I first hired EMT Construction two years ago when I had a serious problem with moisture inside stucco. They did a fantastic job both inside and out. Ed wasn't happy until I was happy. I used EMT again recently for a smaller job and was equally pleased. From my experience, I find the previous reviewer's comments hard to believe. I would use EMT again and definitely recommend them to my friends.

We moved into our 16 year old Chalfont home about a year ago and needed some improvements to it. EMT construction was the perfect match for us. We got our roof replaced, removal of a door and replaced with a window, installation of a slider door, and replacement of woodwork under our exterior stone wall with 4 new windows in the front.
