- Building permit records show that Eddie Davenport Construction has worked on 64 permitted projects.
Mr. Davenport does no actual work, but subcontracts all work to others. Roofers were inexperienced, and worked unsupervised. I had to force them to stop until issues were addressed. Mr. Davenport was instructed to order vinyl railings with a flat top, and ordered aluminum with a peak. Mr. Davenport denied being told what we wanted, and did not provide samples or pictures of what he was installing. Railings that were installed do not fit. Mr Davenport was instructed to recycle existing railings on back porch, but ordered aluminum railings without our authorization. Mr. Davenport miscounted windows needing replacing, and had to reorder one window twice for a correct fit. Window subcontractors installed poorly, and all but a few windows had to be re-fit. Three windows installed are not the correct size, and Mr. Davenport refuses to address them. Work commenced November 20, 2018 and remains incomplete. Mr. Davenport is unresponsive to repeated issues, denies being given instructions.
