Replace Shingle roof with a metal roof

I contracted Edificium to replace my shingle roof and chose to go with a standing seam 24 gauge metal roof. The entire process was seamless. Very professional and the work on the roof was superb! My new metal roof turned out AMAZING, and I couldn’t be happier. The work crews cleaned up so efficiently, couldn’t even tell in my yard every night that my roof was being replaced. I highly recommend Edificium. Well worth the investment! I will certainly use Edificium again for my next projects of windows and painting, there’s no need to even get quotes. Feel free to reach out to me, if you have any questions.

Install New Metal and Shingle Roof
    $20,000

New roof was put on. They did not put new metal on the roof, only shingles. They did a poor job and roof leaked from a huge hole in the roof. They refused to fix it and caused other damage.

    New Shingle roof
    $18,000

We just had a new roof installed a few weeks ago. We used Owens Corning Duration shingles. The crew was professional, on time and courteous, but the most important thing was we got an excellent roof. The city building permit inspector said they did a great job, and even started recommending the company to other prospective customers. While doing the installation, one of the trucks leaked oil on our paver driveway. Eddie, the owner, worked hard to make it right, which he did 100%. He tried 3 different chemical approaches which did not work, and finally replaced the stained pavers. He accomplished this within 1 week of completing the roof installation. It is easy to get a great rating when you have completed a well done job. But Edificium Construction stood by their workmanship and did the right thing to repair/replace the oil stained pavers. Thank you Eddie and your crew! An excellent rating under these circumstances is hard to achieve, but highly recommend the company for its value, good work, and ethical standards.

    Roofing project-reshingle

Reshingle roof. Not a good job. Was promised to do gables, didn’t want to do them, till I got very angry. They cut corners because they didn’t measure the roof correctly, and they shorted themselves money pur contract. They put a board over my rotted board on one of my gables. They did such a lossy job doing that, that they got caught and had to redo it. Didn’t do the corners right, inspector failed it. After that the inspector cleared them, but once the roof was checked out by my sons, had to call the inspector back out. He failed them again because the vent on top of the roof was 3 feet short and there was nothing but a 3 foot soft spot that would have just blown off with bad weather. The company came out again and put a long air vent over my garage. When they were about to leave I noticed they did the wrong spot. I showed them and the workers were nice and fixed the spot they originally were suppose to do. The workers laid all their gas cans and tools and equipment on my rug which was on my deck instead of the tarp they had laid out on the driveway. Gas spilled, and there was oil stains. And I’ve had to buy tar to put on spots of the roof and gable that they did a bad job of doing.
