Do not do business with this company. I signed my contract June 22. They were very fast in installing the solar panels but I still don't have them connected. I have called several times, the person that I was told was in charge said nothing was his fault. He doesn't do the work he just hires it done. He did provide the name of someone else to help me. Talked to him once but now I can't get a return phone call. So no benefit in having the panels installed. They are installed, my roof in now leaking and I am having to make payments on something that is doing me no benefit. I have been trying for over a month to get someone out to look at my roof. They finally sent someone out, an electrician. What does an electrician know about a roof? They are claiming the leak in my roof is not a result of the panels being installed, even though the leak is exactly where the panels are installed. I called a reliable roofer in the area to look at my roof. Just as I thought, the panels were not installed correctly and that is what is causing my roof leak. YOU DON'T WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! THEY DON'T RETURN PHONE CALLS AND THEY DO NOT BACK THEIR WORK.

It has been 7 months( July 17th 2023) and all I have is decorative solar panels on my roof from Edison Solar financed by Sunlight Financial. I was supposed to have solar panels installed on my roof and connect to the City of Garland with a bi-directional meter. Every time I call Edison solar they tell me they will call me back but never do. I have also called Sunlight Financial and they have also not called me back. Edison Solar did not complete the city permits before beginning work and have still not completed the permitting process. Sunlight Financial has been made aware that the solar panels do not work and have not offered me any resolution other than paying the $230 monthly solar loan payment ($48,811 in total). A Sunlight representative told me problems happen and I should try to understand. That is a great point except when its been 7 months and no one can communicate to me what that "problem" is. All the information I have gathered is from me emailing the city energy department. Edison and Sunlight Financial have "zero" clue what the status of my install is. The electrician who installed the electrical part of the installation disconnected my dishwasher from the breaker box( accidently I'm assuming) and I ended up replacing the dishwasher, $600, because I thought it randomly broke. My solar loan was also accruing interest during the first 2 months after the contract was signed during a supposed "grace period" so right now my loan is over $49,000 because no principle has been paid the entire time while interest was being added. This company has so many red flags over the past 7 months I hope someone out there is looking into this company and their business practices because it's damn near criminal.

Vertical bad company to deal with. They never call you back. There were promises made of a rebate check that was supposed to arrive two weeks after install ww are now going on 4 months and we just keep getting the big run around. They are way paat the 90 day contract agreement to energize the system and nothing. All I have to say is they are bad news don't use them.

This company SUCKS to say the very least. They get the panels on the roof and then THATS IT ! nothing gets inspected and they never produce. I had to get really nasty with these clowns to get my inspection done . It FINALLY just got done but my panels are still not producing. I'm fixen to sue these crooked pricks I've about had it with them. Do yourself a favor, if the salesmen come to your door just stick your head into your ceiling fan it will be less painful then getting screwed by these punks

This is the absolute worst company ever. They have a great sales pitch but that is it. Once the panels are up they are not concerned with the production of them at all. Its been over a year and out panels have yet to be inspected by the city, we have wiring issues per another company we had check it out. Law suit here we come. This is very expensive to get into and to be treated the way we have is insane. We have an app that does not show all our panels. Basically the owner told us all panels working correctly dont know what else to tell you. We are beyond mad!!!

Sign my contract back in December 2023 solar panels were installed very quickly and as of March 10 of 2025 I have been connected to the solar source panels for two months and still not getting any anything out of it because my regular electric bill is still over $1000 a month and I’m still having to pay for the solar panels which is $345.09 a month with paying the finance company and paying my regular light bill through reliant energy. My electric bill is still like $1250 a month so I suggest you don’t do business with Edison Solar or any entity connected with this company because it is a big scam if you go on a Better Business Bureau you’ll see what I’m talking about. I can’t even get these people to return my call. I wish I knew somebody that I can contact and file a lawsuit against these people or maybe a bunch of us that have been shafted maybe we can get together and do a class action lawsuit . if you look at the reviews on the Better Business Bureau, you’re gonna see about the same thing as what I am posting.
