We recently got our old shaker roof and gutter system replaced on our home. Ector and his family members were all very professional and helped us with the entire process of dealing with our insurance company regarding the roof replacement. On the day of actual work, both his roofing and gutter teams arrived on time, did quality work as well as were very thorough in cleaning up all the construction mess. I am a satisfied customer and grateful to EDP for our new (safe and waterproof) roof and gutters. Thank you so very much for your help with our roof!

EDP did a great job! EDP roofed my garage, a section of flat roof on my house and repaired a section of fascia on my house. From start up to clean up EDP did everything right. I was very picky and demanding when they completed my roof because I didn't want to have nails on the ground because my dog has to go outside and they made sure everything was cleaned up for my dog. The project took 2 days and everything went smoothly.

Normally I never post reviews but I wanted to share my experience with this family owned business. Since the moment they knocked on my door, I was very hesitant, a lot of "storm chasers" had come to my door and I honestly shoo them away. I felt very connected to the approach of the salesperson and I gave them an opportunity. Once I signed the contract agreement to allow them to conduct an inspection, they advised that we still had to wait for the insurance to approve the work. After about a month I was approved for my roof and siding. I got a new roof, and also changed my aluminum siding to Vinyl. I paid a little more to get shakes to decorate the front porch, I was very satisfied with how organized and quick the crew worked. The best part of working with edp is that they are family owned. Ector is the owner, and the father of Frank , Ector Jr and Soledad. The boys are on top of everything and Soledad is in the office. Andrea is the daughter in law and Giuseppe is the cousin. It feels good and reassuring to be working with a company that values family. My experience with edp has really been a blessing. I am very thank full for the hard work and determination they put into my house. Thank you again to the EDP Family.

They perform work to many of my neighbors roofs and siding. We decided to wait 2 years before we gave them a try with the. After asking numerous of our neighbors we decided to do it. We were very pleased with everything they did. I would recommend them

Use extreme caution when allowing this company to do an inspection of your roof or gutters. Like other reviews I figured since they had done other roofs in my neighborhood I would at least allow them to do an inspection. Prior to them being on my roof there were only 2 visible shingles that were loose and now you can see 6 or 7 from the street which they of course caused in order to have insurance cover the claim. Not only did they do that but they also dented every one of my downspouts from top to bottom to make it look like hail damage. My insurance adjuster immediately noticed this was not consistent with hail damage and I have many witnesses who saw Ector and his employee near all of my gutters and could validate there was never any previous damage. Ector refuses to take ownership for the damage and has made not attempt to remediate the situation. This company is a typical storm chaser company who might get your insurance to pay but may also cause fraudulent damage in order to get the job.

Working with edp construction was a peace of mind. The whole insurance process was really confusing to me and they walked me thru step by step. Communication was always available between me and the office. I would highly recommend this family business.

Have been working with Ector and his family to put a new roof on my house. They have been quick and helpful. Biggest pain was my homeowners association. They did the roof and the work looks great. Watched the crew all day and they did not short cut. Great work and good price. Very pleased.

Such professionalism with everyone that worked with us during this procedure. They were quite efficient and proficient with the completion of our roof and downspouts. They also cleaned up the yard so well from excess materials that it was hard to tell they had even been working on a project that afternoon. do not use edp they installed a new roof on my home the gutters are leaking, downspouts are not the same size ,my tuck pointing cracking .my bathroom drywall damaged from the roof leaking had my insurance and other contractor poor workmanship is the answer.improper installed . edp charged me 14,823.88 to damage my home ...please help am a veteran and senior citizen

working with EDP construction has been very easy and fast. The reason for my review is because after it has been 2 years since they worked on my house due to the high winds his year I had some blow off shingles I called the office and within a week they had sent the roofer to come fix the problem.

Very reliable company.

Poor workmanship ridge vent shingles falling off only 2 years after work complete. Edp says nothing under warranty 250 dollars to fix.

Ectors son Frank helped me get my house approved by the insurance for wind and hail damage.

I was able to replace the roof, siding, gutters and downspouts with State Farm Insurance the only balance I was responsible for was my deductible.

I was skeptical at first in hiring this company but seeing that all my neighbors in the area had worked with them I gave them a chance and I was blown away. Very happy with the results.

EDP changed the roof of my house in November, it took them a couple of days to finish the roof because my house has 4 layers. The crew works diligently and are extremely hard working.

The whole process went by smoothly even the part of recovering the money from the mortgage. The office really walked us through all of this and made it a breeze!

In the beginning of the year, my house was suffering from a leak in the master bedroom. I was recommended by Ector the owner of EDP Construction because he had done most of the homes in my area in Hickory Hills. Ector managed to get my roof approved by the insurance and I only had to pay the deductible. Working with Ector and his family was a breeze, I was happy and calm through out this whole process.

My house has EXTREME curb appeal now.

Ector's company did the siding of my home as well as change all the windows of my property. The experience with EDP Construction was perfect, I felt like I was working with my family. Ector always had a smile on his face.

After this years winter my you could feel the difference in climate inside my home. The air no longer comes through my windows.

Don't use this company. They have done my roof with leaking issue. They fixed one time but haven't solved problem. I have called several times and no response. We are still suffer on the roof leaking problem.

Do not use this people. They miss putting a shingle in my roof. My roof was exposed to the weather all winter long. We called several times and are still waiting for replacement of shingle missing.
