We had a $120,000 remodel done at our home and after the work was done, Ed Brussels refused to do warranty work.
We had numerous areas where bad workmanship was used, including $15,000 of hand scrapped wood floors that buckled in several areas, had nail holes showing, had a place where the wood was 1/4" higher than the rest of the floor, enough that you would trip when walking and areas where the wood separated enough to drop a quarter thru and he has refused to address the problems. We have stonework work done where he did not clean up the grout that was everywhere. He forgot to run a pipe under a walkway so we could run electrical for outside lighting.
We had FOUR(4) floods in 5 different rooms during the three month construction due to not installing insulation to the exterior doors and contractors not installing appliances correctly.
I am now forced to hire an attorney. I cannot stress enough how strongly I would not recommend Ed Brussels Builders. If you hire him, do so knowing you will not get warranty work done and he will not return calls, text or emails.
