BE CAREFUL with this builder! He wasn't able to finish the job on time, and keep lying until we found out. He was out of money, and just can't deliver the house. He asked for 60 days extension, we were ready to sit down and negotiate, but he doesn't even want to commit to that date, and finally the seller agent came back and said they may be able to deliver late summer (the original closing date is Apr 1st !) We decided to back out, since I don't feel they can even finish by the end of the year. It was a nightmare. I know they sold the next door house as well around the time we stepped in, and 5 months later, the neighbor still only has a huge hole on the ground, not even the foundation up.
