Beware: Incomplete Work and Overcharging
I hired this electrician to complete some work in my home, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The job was never finished, and the quality of the work that was done was subpar at best. Not only were there holes left in new drywall after attempting to finish work on two outlets, but the light fixtures were also placed incorrectly—misaligned and not centered over the sink. When I asked for them to be moved, I was charged for that service, only to be charged again when they came back to fix what should have been done right the first time.
To make matters worse, I was charged 73% over the original bid, and despite paying in full, there is still work left unfinished. The fact that the job was not completed properly, and I ended up paying significantly more than expected, is incredibly frustrating.
Not only would I not recommend this company, but I would strongly advise hiring anyone else before considering them. Be prepared for poor workmanship, incomplete jobs, and a significant risk of being gouged with hidden fees at the end. This experience has been a costly and disappointing mistake.

We have used G L Electric for all our electric needs since before 2010. Recently our Rexburg basement Apartment was flooded. We decided to take the opportunity of upgrading the lighting in the apartment as well as place extra outlets. We also renovated the kitchen which required moving the location of the stove with a built in vented microwave and refrigerator, and installing a new dishwasher. They came when they said they would, they are clean, polite and efficient. The work will be completed next week and I am so pleased with the progress made. They are my number one choice for electrical needs.
