    kitchen renovation

    I made the costly error of hiring Edwin Construction to renovate my small kitchen,
    It was at the tail end of 2021 and ,of course, there were devery delays. Edwin seemed to not comprehend that it was out of my control. He became abusive and rude,.
    While waiting for the final cabinet to arrive from Canada, he convinced me to remit him the final payment. Against my better judgement, I did.
    He abandoned the job. I had to hire a contractor to install the kitchen trim and hardware for $3000.00 . He also left my dishwasher in the garden the entire winter and I was forced to buy a new one.($800.00)
    I took him to court in Essex County: he claimed to need translator when his English is as good as mine. I lost the case because he lied through his teeth.
    The female judge did not undesrtand that trim is part of the cabinetry. I paid him more than the invoices, and had the cancelled checks to prove it.
    Do NOT hire this man. He laughed as he left court because he knew that his lies worked.
    He is very misogynistic; he preyed on me as a single woman.
