    This company installed solar panels on my home. They told me that this system would completely offset my energy usage. It does not. They told me I would be making more energy than I use, and would be selling the excess back to the electric company. They lied. My first true up with SMUD was over $700. They told me that instead of paying an energy bill, I would be paying for my solar panels. I am currently paying a large electric bill, and also paying for the solar panels. They never determined my energy usage, so how could they correctly size my system? They couldn’t, and they didn’t. This company installed a very small system on my home for a very big price. When I questioned the salesman about the small number of panels, I was told that these are the new high efficiency panels and I won’t need as many panels as my neighbors home. This system cost me 26,400.00, and three weeks after it was installed I found the materials they used on the internet for 5,777.00. This company told me that the tax rebate that I get would cover part of the cost for this system. The amount I received did not even come close to the figure they quoted. A $920. difference out of my pocket. I have written two letters to this company, and none of these issues were addressed. They simply sent me copies of the forms I signed, (in good faith). I trusted this company at their word, and nothing they told me was true. Nothing.
