    Retaining wall with stairs

    my experience with EJE was very good. I needed a retaining wall in the back yard. EJE removed the existing concrete deck, and build a retaining wall, with stairs.

    I had a great experience with this contractor. We had an challenging exterior renovation and EJE was able to complete this work on task. I also want to add I'm an Architect in the building trade I'm very demanding and aesthetics are very important to me. EJE was able to meet all my demands and the finished product is amazing.

    Roof & Gutter

    I enjoyed my experience with this contractor. He was very knowledgeable and experienced, and he handled my projects very well. His subcontractors respected my home, were informative, and exceeded my expectations for the work. He helped me seek avenues for finance and other funding sources, and we ultimately set up a payment arrangement that allowed me to complete my project within budget. I appreciate his help and will use him again.
    FYI the work done was a roof replacement and replacement/ upgrade of my main gutters.

    I would highly recommend you not go with this company. I purchased a home using a 203(k) streamline loan and Evol has been nothing but a disaster.

    The bid stated work would be done in two weeks. Here we are, two months later, and only two items have been done. The plumbing job was done horrifically, to the point that I paid almost $1,500 extra to have someone come correct it because his plumber was not competent. There were leaks everywhere, and he turned the line to the refrigerator ice maker off thinking I wouldn't notice it was leaking when I turned it on to install my refrigerator. The plumber also used my baseboard that was being sanded and primed in the basement as his personal knee pad and cut materials with a circular saw on it, ruining it.

    Now let's move on to the fact that he has refused to compensate me from my first draw for the appliances I had to buy with my Credit Card because he wouldn't do it in a timely manner. His bid had a line item for the appliances and installation. Had I not bought, and installed them, myself i would still not have appliances after 2 months.

    Let''s not forget the fact that he has told me on 4 different occasions work would start/be completed and that has not happened. The typical process for him is to never answer a call or text and then suddenly feed you a line of BS. Then, he tells you "my guy will be there Wednesday". Then I sit around for two weeks with no communication or work being done.

    I have done a large amount of the work on this bid myself. He is a joke.

    I am serious. Stay away. The level of professionalism is atrocious. I am in the process of seeking legal action but I really wouldn't want anyone else to have to put up with the headache. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
