The contractor was hired by L&I in Philadelphia to tear down house I was adjoining property and some damage was done to my chimney. The company Rafael called here accusing me of sending someone to damage roof, he continued tried to bully me and intimidate me. Pictures were provided of pre and post demoltion work. Contractor did poor job securing gutter and now squirrels have access to my roof. I've lived here 49 years never had problem squirrels on my front bedroom window. Contractor crused bricks/debris and other trash put under erision control mat in lot. Lower portion cemeted party wall not properly sealed. Company doing nothing to correct issues other then ignoring me. Unfortunately city L&I not offering any assistance either. The company representative James Houghtaling made numerous visits saw the concerns and has pictures. He is not a trusted person makes lots of promises to nowhere. He lies. This has been ongoing since Oct 2024. I requested company insurance and the employees x2 hung up on me. Employees refused to identify themselves on phone. I would advise anyone who sees their name as contractor hired by city be wary because they will not repair the damages caused by their workers to adjoining property. A backhoe was used for three days and it rocked my walls every day for hours at time as they were crushing bricks, they did not remove bricks they crushed them and left in lot under erosion mat.
