I had a complicated rebuild due to damage and neglect by renters. Eight contractors in Oscoda, MI who replied were incapable of responding to my detailed statement of work in an adequate or professional manner. I contacted Mr. Eklund and in 6 days I had a detailed proposal addressing my statement of work. Performance was superb!! Mr. Eklund is a graduate of Western Mich University with a degree in construction management and his professionalism shines in his work. He loves construction so when you hire him, he will be on the job with other people as necessary, subcontractors, etc. We were completely satisfied and minor upcharges for additional needed work that we did not detect up front were very reasonable. I have since hired him for an additional project and once again was completely satisfied and thoroughly amazed by his engineering acumen. My opinion is that he is the finest solo contractor on the sunrise side. If he has time to bid your project, you will be extremely pleased with the results!
