  Had my pool and spa build exactly the way I wanted just in time for spring. The entire project with delays took approximately 4 months and it is BEAUTIFUL. On top of all this, Saul still answers every call, text message and email. I highly recommend Cost Plus Pools.

  I have had a terrible experience with Cost Plus. I started the project in May 2020. The contract states he would be done in 52 working days. He broke ground in May and did not pour concrete until July 2021. He was over the 52 days at that point but assured us he would be done soon. Needless to say he has been telling us he will be done "by the end of the week" since August 2020. It is now April 2021 and we are still waiting for the pool to be 100% functioning. Sure, he does return my daily text but he never follows through. Also, why it is my job to remind him every week of what should be done on the pool. Saúl has not once called to give us a timeline, or explain the process of the build. The only time we have seen him was when he came to pick up checks. He is unprofessional since he does not take any pride in his work to take the time to speak to us or visit the site periodically to make sure it is all working and looking well. The pool looks disgusting, the deck needs work and the equipment is constantly having problems. Again, he never calls..it's always us who have to seek him out and he doesn't bother to check in on the work. In an entire year, . i have only seen him 3 times. Believe me, we have needed his assistance far more than that. I think it's ridiculous that it has become my job to call him every day to make sure he is going to continue working on the pool. If I don't call. Weeks or even months have gone by without him even calling. In fact, within the year, he has NEVER called us. This situation is beyond frustrating. I read many reviews stating how responsive and professional he is. Well, I'm still waiting for THAT man because that has not been my experience at all!

  Build in-ground pool

  LOVE LOVE LOVE my Oasis!!! Like everyone, I talked to multiple pool builders and saw multiple designs... But after meeting Saul and seeing his design and quote, the choice was obvious - Cost Plus Pools, hands down!!
  He's a one-man show and I'm not sure how he does it. I can't explain it, but you know how you automatically feel comfortable with and trust certain people... That's how I felt with Saul. He understood my vision from the moment he walked into my back yard to give the estimate. After a very thorough presentation of the equipment options and basic knowledge and cost of maintaining a pool, off he went to design my pool. I got the initial design concept and quote that night. Of course I had to add my 2-cents and make some changes... But in the end it was his initial design that won me over and is now my favorite place to escape.
  Like any construction project, you're going to run into issues. And if it could go wrong, I think it went wrong on my project. I was beginning to think it was cursed Lol. BUT... the difference with Saul and Cost Plus Pools is that he WILL make it RIGHT!!! And he won't bat an eye at it... He just fixes it!!!
  One thing you'll find with Saul, that you won't find with most builders is that he's with you every step of the way... And not just during the construction phase. He doesn't wash his hands of you once the project is done. I witnessed multiple times during my project where he was still helping and responding to previous clients from years ago. My pool was completed in July 2019 and he is still there whenever I have a question.. No matter how big or small, intelligent or stupid the question... He's always got my back!
  At the end of it all... I have a new friend and I know that he's that way with most of his clients. Saul is someone you can trust, someone who will shoot you straight... And in the end, give you an Oasis in this desert that you and your family and friends will LOVE for years to come!!!
  I'm sooooooo glad I made the right choice!! Don't hesitate... He's super busy, but definitely worth the wait to get something you can be proud of.

  Horrible workmanship. My pool has been out of service longer than it has been up & running. Once he has your money you are no longer a priority. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!

  Swimming Pool built 10 years ago and still proud of it

  My rating for Cost Plus Pools is Exceptional. I had my Sport Pool built by Cost Plus Pools ten years ago and their service to my family and myself still exceeds our expectations. The reason I decided to go with Cost Plus Pools, when I did, is due to the high recommendation from friends and neighbors in Horizon City. When we met with Saul, we talked at length about design, pool options, time frame, quality of materials, decking, and equipment, and pricing. Saul provided us with his in depth knowledge of pools and reassured us with sound advice in meeting our goal. To this day, we thank Saul for explaining to us the many benefits of a Salt Treatment System that generates chlorine for the pool. This alone has been a tremendous savings in chemical costs. A major Cost Plus in savings. Saul assured us years of enjoyment with our 18,000-gallon pool and we are still doing it. However, we are doing it; having fun with friends, neighbors, and family, because of Saul’s strong commitment to professionalism and the quality workmanship of the Cost Plus Pools team. Saul still answers my every call or text, has assisted me with accessories from time to time, and because of this and more, I highly recommend Cost Plus Pools to anyone desiring to make the venture to a higher quality of life.

  Learn from my experience. I rented this house for 12 months from the owner of this business during which time the A/C unit quit working twice. The first time it took 4 days for the landlord to have a service technician repair it and the second time it took 2 days. The temperatures inside the house were over 100 degrees. I moved out at the end of June and the landlord has not refunded my $1500 deposit and will not reply to my texts or emails, so he clearly intends to keep it. This gentleman also owns a pool company called Cost Plus Pools in El Paso so you may want to think twice before doing business with them.
