When we called about an estimate we were greeted by George. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and simply wonderful to work with. The job was completed on time and an excellent job was done! It has now been about 3 years...and the aggregate patio is looking good, despite the fact that the condo manager said the patio would crack. George assured him that the way they would do it and would NOT crack, it has not. Our neighbors are in envy! Would highly recommend this company!

This company does not stand by their work. Spent a ton of money to get a stamped concrete patio put in. The guys dumped all the scrap in the field behind my house even after we noticed and told them to stop. The patio is full of cracks and is slowly sinking and it's only been in since the end of June this year. George is useless, tried to call him to have him look at it and he refused to come when we were home and instead apparently let himself in our gated yard to look at it while we were gone and left us a voicemail stating he was at our home looking at it. Should have called the police for trespassing. Apparently a XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXty looking patio is normal. He will not do anything about it. Stay far far away from this guy. We found him at the novi home show- and regret it every time we look out our back door. We will be calling a more reputable company to fix this mess in the spring.

The crew worked hard and fast. George made all the right promises. 4 months and $14,000s later I'm left with a cracked walkway and a 14 foot diagonal crack across my driveway. There are also several "pops" that I was told they would be out to fill with epoxy as soon as the weather broke and that has never happened. Eventually I was told by George that this was a terrible Michigan winter and that these cracks are no big deal and will be fine. Not even face to face . He showed up when I wasn't home and left this on my voicemail. When I returned his call he repeated the same thing , and that there is no reason for replacement. As hard and long as I've saved for this project I should have just kept my old cracked cement and my money. I have refused to give his number to others looking for a contractor and would suggest anyone looking to hire someone else.

After a year and half and $8,900, the driveway had many stone pops and major flaking. looked worse than before we had it done. They have no interest in replacing or fixing any of it and do not stand by their work. Their license is in the name of Arthur Richard Tomezak. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

Update: first reviewed that they were good- NOT!! After a year and half we have stone pops, major flaking etc. Cement looks worse that before we had it repaired. THEY WILL NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK. Cannot get any response from them. Their license is in the name of Arthur Richard Tomezak, not George Oprita and not Elegant Stamped Concrete.

My driveway is 5 months old and looks like its 20 years. Please read your contract that states we don't warranty cracks and pitting. I understand cracks but the whole drive is pitting.

I had an 8 x 10 "patio" that broke when the retaining wall to my basement steps collapsed. What a mess! I got bids from Elegant and two other companies for that repair and a deck, and decided to go with Elegant for the patio and steps repair and have them install a raised patio --a porch, really, without the roof, because I could get everything for less than the price of a patio and wooden deck. The crew showed up when they said they would, worked harder and longer than anyone I have ever known, and did a fabulous job. I am completely happy with the work they did. I did not get the stamped concrete, choosing instead to get fan-brushed concrete, which is less expensive, and I like it. Now I do not have to power-wash and stain a wood deck every year or worry about termites or skunks nesting under the deck. I just have to sweep it occasionally. George --the sales rep-- is warm and amiable. My dogs adore him, and he answered my many questions with patience and clarity. The crew did not use foul language or crude references or toss cigarettes on the ground (they didn't smoke!) as some other contractors have done, and I really appreciated their calm, pleasant manner with me and with the other crew members. I love this company and would recommend it to anyone who wants great concrete at a reasonable price installed by sweet, hard-working, really strong guys.

Elegegant put in a new driveway and walkways. Their design of the aggregate walkways flowing into the sides of the driveway was beautiful. Pablo and crew were very professional, and showed extreme pride in their work and craftsmanship. Many neighbors had cement work done this season with other companies and none were totally satisfied. They've all said that they wish they would have had Elegant handle their cement instead of the companies they hired. The county inspector said he has never had an issue with Elegant and it's always an easy inspection. I can't say enough about how impressed we are with their work and would (and have) hightly recommend them to anyone.

Two years ago, we contracted for a large cement circle drive and two areas for stamped concrete- one being our walkway from the front door to the driveway. We were happy with the original product and followed up the sealing of the stamped concrete within a year. Then, we got a crack in a step and some discoloration. Many calls to George finally resulted in a patch job (fall, 2014), with a promise to repair the step and color after the winter. I called George in March, 2015, and he quoted a price to repair and I agreed. I called in April, May and June- a minimum of 6 times, and each time was told he needed another project with the same color and when that happens, he will send his crew over to fix it. It is now November 1, 2015, and he never called or came over to repair our step and color of the walkway. We spent approximately $15,000 and referred the company to a few friends, who used this company. We are truly disappointed and still have a cracked step and discoloration outside our front door.
