I HIGHLY recommend Elite Deck & Patios for your next outdoor project. Their quality and price are unmatched, and is only overshadowed by their dedication to providing great customer service; a trait that is sadly hard to find across the service industry.
We were fortunate to meet Richard and Aaron about two years ago as my wife and I began reaching out to contractors for estimates on a new patio project. We had bought our first home only a few months prior and were truly novices to the entire home improvement process. My wife obtained Elite's contact information after reading multiple positive reviews on our community's social media page, and I’ll never forget the day Richard and Aaron came to our house for our first scheduled appointment. It had just snowed and it was bitterly cold, but like the post office, “neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom” would keep them away. Their commitment to still meeting with us, despite the inclement weather, was our first sign that they were special.
Over the course of a year and a half, my wife and I went back and forth on the project as life in general put the project on the back burner. We still periodically met with other companies to gauge market conditions, but after each interview we kept comparing the company to Elite. They were by far the most affordable and didn’t come with any gimmicks or compromise. In total we met with 11 different contractors and had reached out to several others who either did not respond or acted like we were doing them a favor by requesting their services. We even had one company tell us eight days after first talking with them, that we, “[…] did do the right thing and called in ‘early’ but you should also know we had well over 15 inquires for our services” and that we needed to, “[…] seriously get focused to move to contracting.”
Through it all, Elite consistently proved their worth well before we signed a contract. Their responses to our questions were same-day and they patiently readjusted proposals as we made changes to our design. We also genuinely appreciated the opportunity to see their past projects first-hand as it provided us with a reassurance that “quality” was not just a word used by Elite to promote their services. Instead, they used their work to showcase it for them. It also introduced us to the idea of using porcelain tile for the first time.
Shortly after signing our contract, Richard began preparing the HOA architectural approval package, and persistently followed up with the HOA to obtain an approval. Again, with each question that was posed to him, he would respond same day. He even took us to Floor & Décor to view and select tile, providing recommendations along the way, but also allowing us to express our freedom in the design. Two weeks after we made our selections, the construction began!
Elite’s passion for work did not stop at the point of construction. To say that we were truly impressed with the work of their construction crew is understatement. Victor and his team worked tirelessly over the course of eight days to build a patio that was beyond our expectations. Their level of craftmanship was amazing and the crew took few breaks, and some days only a lunch break, to finish the project earlier than scheduled. For reference, I’m attaching a few pictures I took throughout the construction process.
I can’t say enough good things about Elite, and I do not feel the negative reviews on here are a fair and true representation of the service they provide. While Richard will say Elite started as a way to make some “Disney money”, it’s clear that his and Aaron’s natural passion for their work are what continues to carry them through. To put it simply, Elite Decks & Patio made the ENTIRE process seamless, and their work and our experience with them is nothing short of spectacular.
