  Fence gate

  $2,750

  Mr. Jarrod Hynes agreed to build a gate for us at our current home for a total price of $2750. He asked for a deposit which we paid on February 16th 2023 for the amount of $1000. Initially he agreed to install the gate on March 27th 2023. He did not show up nor did he return our phone calls or text messages on that day. We finally got ahold of him and he agreed to install the gate on May 12th at 8:00 am. It was on the morning of May 12 th that Jarrod informed us that he would not be proceeding with the project.

  He informed us that he would return the money immediately. He returned half of the deposit or $500. He has failed to comply and return the rest of our deposit of $500. Since this has transpired Mr. Hynes has blocked both of our telephone numbers and will not return calls or text messages.

  Jarrod came out gave us a solid quote and we went with him. He did an awesome job on our vinyl fence. Easy to work with and very friendly. Thanks Jarrod for the hard work

  First of all The fence is beautiful. The workers were very professional. Jarrod the owner did not finish the job. I paid for a Arbor and did not get it. Gave excuses oh it on order oh I will do it this week etc.... Blah blah blah.He also left is work trailer on my property for more than a month calls and texts were sent to remove it. Seriously who leaves a 4 thousand dollar trailer. I had to park our vehicles on the street. I can park 4 cars in my driveway Very inconvient. I live on a corner I get compliments on my fence. Neighbors wanting work done. At least 8 neighbors inquired who did the job. I informed them as soon as you see a Arbor go up I will let you know. Had the trailer towed off my property. I even had a guy show up at my house late one night wanting money from me he can work for me. Telling me oh you have work you have a trailer with items on it. That was very scary. I had to call the police Thank goodness I have cameras. Check is license before you have any work done. I will be reporting him to the BBB.

  Jarrod was the fence guy our neighbor picked out before we bought our house. When we moved in he asked if we’d like to split the cost of replacing the fence that separated our properties. We met Jarrod, he seemed like a nice guy and the quote seemed like a good deal. The day he was supposed to come, he did, the worm was done well, and there were no issues. With that in mind, we asked our other neighbor if they were interested in replacing the fencing along that property line to raise it up to give us both added privacy. Having previously been happy winn Jarrod’s work, we asked he neighbors if they’d agree to use him to do that fencing. Due to Jarrod’s quote being lower than they had previously received, they were skeptical but agreed once they saw our other fence he just finished. We’re not sure what happened to Jarrod, but he confirmed the night before he was supposed to come over, our neighbor stayed home from work, and then he just no showed. No call, didn’t return our calls or texts. We hope he’s okay, but business wise, totally unprofessional to leave us hanging and not have anyone reach out at all. We won’t be using his company and will tell our friends and neighbors to be weary as well.
