We could not be more happy having Jason do our renovation. With Jason who owns Elite Home Works you are not only getting a builder you are getting a designer, someone with an eye as to what would look great in your space. He is a perfectionist and hard working and it shows. His staff follows his lead in doing it right the first time. He suggested ways to improve the look and feel of our home we never thought of and we are so happy we took his advice.
Jason comes from growing up in the building business and it shows in his work. He takes pride in what he has done and created. You will be getting the real deal if you have Elite Home Works create the change you are looking for.

The biggest mistake I made in Hurricane Ian was hiring this fraudulent, poor quality CON-tractor. I had to rebuild my main home and 2 rentals and I didn’t think anything could be as traumatic as losing my homes and almost life till I contracted with Elite Home Services. Jason Hansen (owner) first bid my window job and his prices and timelines sounded great and I decided to do the 3 full rebuilds with him. His previous google reviews were 4 years old but seemed positive (I don’t know if it was drugs, gambling addiction or what but much has changed!) The first couple weeks we seemed to make great progress, however progress dramatically slowed and communication got more and more contentious. Extremely big mistakes were made including but certainly not limited to:
-He didn’t confirm the windows were ever ordered through his rep, delaying them almost two months (defeating the whole reason I initially hired him)
-Ordered wrong sized windows/doors, clear glass for bathrooms(?!) and install was extremely messy and didn’t even remove broken and cracked marble and wet wood sills
-He installed drywall before getting rough electrical and plumbing inspected causing delays and additional expenses
-He removed my driveway and seawall pavers almost immediately (after I specifically asked not to) before we even had a driveway layout or pavers ordered (which is 12-15 weeks!), making the entire area and interior a complete mess and destabilizing the seawall - then wildly overcharged for the demo
-Didn’t order proper end panels for cabinets and therefore have unsightly screws sticking out of cabinet side profiles
-Electrician never included LIGHT SWITCHES for some rooms (and no other electrician wants to go cutting open walls and finding wires for the switches and outlets)
-Laid pavers extremely uneven and wrong, after over-ordering by FIVE pallets (overcharging me $12k+ that I could not recoup)
-Left a hose on overnight, sinking pavers and causing damage in the area then yelled at me when I asked about it
-Installed cracked pipe in one property that consequently leaked causing further damage
-Re-roofed one property without replacing sheathing, resulting in an sagging roof
There are dozens of other problems I’ve run into and continue to daily as I finish these homes myself that have cost $40k+ to repair and I’m sure there will be more as I continue, but even worse is running into MULTIPLE sub-contractors that state they still have never been paid by him and other victims of his in the area that said he did the same thing to them - overcharged, under delivered, then threatened them prior to completion and quit.
In his invoice compiling, there were more than a dozen receipts he charged me for with other job names on them, and between the inaccurate billing, overcharges, and lack of work (like charging me $10,000 for electrical work before an electrician ever started work on one of the properties and then quitting before anything started) I estimate he still owes me nearly $75,000. I asked repeatedly for lien releases which he refused before he quit, and he left no property finished or inspected. His communication became increasingly unprofessional, rude, laced with profanity and near the end, downright scary. I later found out he has felonies and domestic violence charges. Stay far far away from this man and business, I’m tired of being fearful of retaliation as other homeowners deserve to know the truth behind this CON-tractor.
