Do NOT give this con artist your money. You will regret it. I hired him to do a paint and floor job and unfortunately gave him 50% of the money, almost half in cash, up front. He promised so many things, everything is 'of course' and 'absolutely' but not a single promise fulfilled. First, it was a 3-week delay, then the real BS. He hired a subcontractor to do the job. The sub started then stopped, but the contractor didn't pay him anything. 2 weeks later, started again, and stopped again because he gave him a few hundred dollars to keep going, but not enough to continue. Another week later, the contractor asks me for more money to pay the painter. Where did my initial deposit go? The contractor says we can hire a different subcontractor. Needless to say, this man is a fraud. Don't trust a painter/contractor who wears designer jeans and drives a sports car. I'm sorry that I did.
