I can't say enough good things about Elite Ponds. We have 2 waterfalls and streams that pour into a koi pond. We had put it in 20 years ago. It had a traditional liner, but we had rats that would chew through the liner constantly. It was a never-ending repair fest. I called Elite Ponds and asked if they could build a stream and waterfall with a cement base instead of a liner. To my surprise they build them frequently and was very knowledgeable as to what was required. They rebuilt the entire waterfall and stream with reinforced concrete and made it leak proof. The most amazing part was Gavin's workmanship and the way he completely redid the waterfall. He is so detailed, artistic and professional. He transformed that waterfall and stream into something amazingly beautiful. Seriously, Gavin is an artist. I couldn't believe how beautiful he made it. We liked it so much that we have hired them to do the same thing to our other waterfall and stream. Knowing Gavin, I have no doubt he will do just as wonderful a job on this other waterfall. Building waterfalls and streams is not cheap, no matter who does it, but if you're going to pay someone to have yours done, then you really should have experts like Elite Ponds do the work. You don't want to leave such a big project to some company that is not experienced in cement based waterfall, streams, and ponds. I would also suggest using concrete instead of a liner. The liners are cheaper, but it seemed to be too much work to fix leaks that came up over the years. On a side note: Gavin and his father are the nicest people. At no point did they "underbid" the job and then surprise us with hidden costs. Not only that, but the waterfall he actually built was much better than he initially described it. My wife and I just love sitting outside and admiring his work. Nothing is better than having someone do more than expected. It's literally why we hired them again. I didn't even hesitate. Gavin was here for the initial bid and he did the actual work himself (with 4 helpers.) Do yourself a favor and call Elite Ponds for any work you need done. It's a family run business that literally does the work themselves and does not contract out to sub-contractors. Believe me, that's very important. Thank you Gavin and Jeff for taking so much pride in your work and your business, and for caring so much about the quality of your work and your customers. I cannot tell you how happy you have made us!!
