Devlin Kalmus is a con-man. He stole $3,000 from my husband and me, as well as another almost $20,000 (and counting) of services theft for items he claimed were completed that have been confirmed not complete at all by subsequent contractors and an inspector. He also promised us 5 weeks to complete the work - here we are 3 months later and he has stolen our money and abandoned the project. This “company” is just Devlin. He hired multiple laborers through Craigslist ads and then subsequently never paid these workers either - so far we have knowledge of over $10,000 worth of wages which were not paid to his subcontractors - knowledge of which came from those workers leaving notes on our front door requesting payment. One of the subcontractors is now threatening to put a lien on our house because of it. We would gladly pay the sub had we not already paid Devlin for the work - we can now not afford to have the project completed due to this fiasco. Furthermore, the work that is “done” is bad quality… electrical fixtures don’t work OR aren’t hooked up to switches so we can’t turn them off at all, multiple plumbing lines don’t emit water, and the floors are destroyed from paint and joint compound everywhere, plus there are holes in walls all over the place. Devlin is a criminal - save yourself the headache and NEVER hire this man. I hope he gets arrested. Total fraud.
