I contacted Elite Sealcoating and Property Maintenance late in the year for an estimate to install a new driveway. They responded with a favorable estimate and were clear they would not be able to do it until the Asphalt plants opened in 2019. I contacted Elite on March 24, 2019 to find out if they were scheduling yet and was told the asphalt plants were not open yet, even though my neighbor had a new driveway installed the day before. It is now April 12 and I have not heard from them in three weeks. Ten days ago I questioned if they even wanted my business so I contacted a competitor who came out the next day to give me an estimate and installed the driveway a week later. Bottom line, their communications with customers and planning are poor.

I always say we take pride in our work and doing it correct, unfortunately there are only two asphalt plants in the ABE region and they had not opened yet and we do not open for business until they open. Companies will travel south down 309 towards Philadelphia where there are some plants that open earlier in the season however this was not an option for us because of it being a smaller job we would risk the asphalt beginning to harden on us. proper compaction is vital to the life of your asphalt before it deteriorates and the job being to small to use the paver machine would not allow us to reheat the asphalt if needed. We do take great pride in our work and our communication, as I always responded to your calls and emails immediately and I just wanted to give you a superior service in which I did not feel confident in traveling 35-45 minutes with a small load in cooler weather and risk doing a sub par job. I hope you understand why we had not started your job and Again I am very sorry for not being able to complete the job and any aggregation we caused you.
